What comes first?

Have you ever felt “meh” after big accomplishment or goal achieved?

Have you ever brushed off the praise and compliments received?

No external accomplishment can make you feel worthy and lovable if it is not what you believe and feel deep inside.

While self-esteem is about what we think and believe about ourselves (often related to specific contexts and in comparison with others), then self-worth is this deeper knowing that we are valuable and lovable in this world regardless of what we have or what we do.

Whenever you desire to increase your self-esteem, you should start with working on your sense of self-worth.

First comes the sense of self-worth, self-acceptance, self-belief and then comes the rest.

And as I have said before, in order to up-level your life — to become the best version of yourself, to pursue your dreams — you do need to start from the “foundation” of your house. ✨✨

The “roof” will not be able to reinforce the “foundation”.

How is your “foundation” doing?
